LanguageCert International ESOL A1 Preliminary is aligned with the breakthrough level of the CEFR and assesses candidates on all four language skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), using familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. Through focusing on familiar topics, the exams assess a candidate’s capability to interact in a simple way when addressed in a simplified manner.

LanguageCert International ESOL exams are regulated by Ofqual in the sector subject area “Languages, literature and culture of the British Isles”. The qualifications are valid proof of English language proficiency for employers in UK and evidence of English language proficiency in order to study at a UK or International University*

LanguageCert ESOL Qualifications
LanguageCert International ESOL is a set of English Language qualifications mapped to the CEFR, that abide by the most rigorous quality and reliability standards.
There are two exams for every level:
Written Exam (Listening, Reading, Writing)
Spoken Exam (Speaking)
Written and Spoken Exams can be taken independently of each other at the candidates’ convenience. They are separate tests, so students can choose to focus their preparation on one exam before taking the other. Successful candidates are awarded High Pass or Pass certificates.
LanguageCert International ESOL A2 Access is aligned with the waystage level of the CEFR and assesses candidates on all four language skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), using sentences and every day expressions related to personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment etc.
LanguageCert International ESOL B1 Achiever is aligned with the threshold level of the CEFR and assesses all four language skills of candidates who can understand clear input on familiar matters, deal with situations arising during travelling, produce simple text, describe experiences and provide reasons and explanations.
You can understand main points of clear, standard communication, convey information, feelings and opinions on familiar topics (family, work, school or leisure), engage in discussion to reach shared understanding, produce simple connected text and describe experiences, events, hopes and ambitions. You can read a simple magazine/newspaper article in English, write an everyday e-mail to a friend or colleague, create simple texts on topics of personal interest, comprehend a casual discussion in English. You have laid the foundation to improve your work, study and travel prospects.

You can understand main ideas of complex communication, interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity without strain for either party, engage in discussion in familiar and unfamiliar situations, spontaneously interact without too much strain for either the learner or the native speaker and communicate in detail, appropriate to purpose and audience. You can travel, live and work independently in an English-speaking country, participate in face-to-face discussions, follow the news in English speaking TV/Radio channels and websites, write e-mails, texts, letters, reports and stories. You have well-developed skills to communicate in English in numerous and different everyday life-situations.

This level proves you have the language skills that most employers are seeking for high calibre English-equipped employees.
is our highest level qualification for proficient users, proving excellent command of English, aligned with the mastery level of the CEFR. It assesses candidates who have achieved fluency in English and are capable of communicating with ease in virtually any situation, as sophisticated or complex as it may be. C2 level actually provides the reassurance your skills are adequate for highly demanding situations, such as working in senior professional environments or studying on high-level graduate programmes (e.g. Master’s or PhD).
You can easily understand virtually everything heard or read, summarise information, reconstruct arguments and accounts coherently, express yourself spontaneously, fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.

Livello intermedio avanzato, l’esame FCE è l’attestato di Cambridge più diffuso e riconosciuto. Si sostiene di solito a scopi d’impiego o di studio.
Questo certificato attesta una qualifica di livello avanzato per chi deve utilizzare l’inglese nel proprio lavoro. Viene sostenuto per lo più da studenti universitari e giovani professionisti. Molte università accettano il CAE come attestato linguistico valido ai fini dell’ammissione.
Certificate of Proficiency in English – level C2
I massimi voti conseguiti in questo esame certificano che il candidato possiede abilità linguistiche analoghe a quelle di un madrelingua. È il titolo più ambito per uno studente d’inglese. Il CPE è un titolo riconosciuto in qualsiasi paese anglofono per attestare le proprie conoscenze della lingua, sia in ambito lavorativo che accademico.
